Day 2 in Amsterdam and we decided to do something a bit different. The kids had been troopers up to this point and had seen so many old churches and museums that we decided to make the day about them and just have fun. And seeing that B's brother and his family would be joining us for most of the day made it even better.
The NEMO Science Museum is hands-on and interactive and so much fun. You can run and jump and play, all while learning (shhh, don't tell the kids they were learning). An incredibly fun way to spend a day...
Trying to outrun our shadows. When the light flashed it left our shadow on the wall behind us for about 5 seconds. So we did what anyone would do - posed, snapped and laughed at all of our goofy shadows over and over and over again.
So much bubble fun. We were put inside them, tried to make the biggest one we could and then tried to make as many as we could at once.
My favorite part of the whole day. We took a blank sheet of paper and created our own new fangled bicycle. It could be any design, shape, size, and color. Once we finished our drawings, they sat us in front of a green screen, took our photo and sent us a picture of us riding our very own creation! How cool is that?
