Magic Indeed

Hands down the Magic Kingdom is our favorite park.  Maybe it is all of the years we lived in California and spent endless days wandering its twin, Disneyland.  Or maybe it is just that this park rocks!  It is classic, it is iconic, and it has so much to do that you never feel like you have "been there, done that".

Sunday we were up and out the door pretty quickly.  We did have a few FastPasses to get to this morning that we certainly didn't want to miss...

The daily selfie.

Thank Goodness Nana and Grampa can still ride this with them because it makes me nauseous.

We had to separate from Nana and Grampa for a bit as we had a roller coaster FastPass and Grampa DOES NOT do roller coasters.  We made a plan to meet back up right after we were done and stumbled upon this as we were looking for them in the crowd...

Yep, that is Andrea Bocelli singing with his son!  They were taping the Christmas special on the main stage all afternoon and we were just lucky enough to catch these two!

It was time for our ice cream tradition so as the singers sang behind us, we walked over to our favorite shop and got our fix.

Sadly, this is when we had to say goodbye to Nana and Grampa.  They had to be back for an appointment on Monday morning and still had a pretty long drive home.  We, on the other hand, still had some time before the park closed and both of the girls wanted to hit up the People Mover again.  Off we went and while on the ride we noticed that the line for Space Mountain was only about 60 minutes (this is super short) so we decided that we would make that our last ride of the night.  Stinkerbell had never done it before (she just learned to like roller coasters about a year ago) so she was a bit apprehensive.  Can you tell?

But the final verdict was that this was her favorite roller coaster ever!  She said it was life-changing.

It was now truly getting late and we wanted to beat the rush out of the park before the fireworks ended so we hustled to the main gate.  Of course, I stopped to snap a few shots of the castle all lit up...

Gorgeous view, right?

So is this! A kid, holding a brand new stuffy that Grampa got her, sound asleep after a full day of exhausting fun!

Of course, it wasn't exciting enough already...
